Corinne T. Kattner, 66, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 27, 2018 in the Hospice House of VNA of St. Luke’s, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Paul J. Kattner who passed away August 30, 2005. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cunegunda (Sliwa) Meleski. She was the owner, along with her husband Paul until his death, and office clerk for the Kattner Coal and Oil Inc. for 39 years and then became secretary for the past two years after handing down the family business to her sons. She was a graduate of Marian High School, Class of 1969 and then went on to further her education and graduate from McCann School of Business. She was a member of the former Scared Heart and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Churches in Nesquehoning and now a member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill. She was a lifetime member of the Nesquehoning VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Corinne will be remembered and missed by all those who knew her, especially those who enjoyed her house decorations every holiday.
Surviving are sons Paul and his wife Monica and Thomas and his wife Tracy both of Nesquehoning; a daughter Christa Kattner of Nesquehoning; and a brother Ronald Meleski of McAdoo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Parish of the P.V. Church, 462 W. Ludlow St., Summit Hill. Interment will be held in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown. Call Sunday 6-8:00 P.M. and Monday 9:30- 10:15 A.M. in the Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, Pa 18240.
