Michael “Cheaser” Zwiesdak, 68, of Lansford, entered into eternal rest Saturday, September 22, 2018 in the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke’s, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Gloria (Kuba) Zwiesdak who passed away June 13, 1999. Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Michael and Sara (Vitek) Zwiesdak. He was employed by the Coaldale-Lansford-Summit Hill Sewer Authority until retiring. He was a graduate of Panther Valley High School, Class of 1968 and then went on to further his education and graduate from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. He was a member of the Lansford Italian Club where he bartended. He was of the Catholic faith. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, and gardening. Mike loved to play the guitar but most of all loved spending special time with family, friends, and especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are daughters Mindy Zwiesdak and Joseph Burns of Somers Point, NJ and Kelly Zwiesdak and Richard Meisel Jr. of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren Ruby Burns, Macy Burns, and Xander Meisel; and a niece Amy Flynn of Titusville,FL.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Sverchek-Blazosky Funeral Home, 340 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, PA with the Rev. Allen Hoffa officiating.
