Agatha L. “Alice” Nahaj, 93, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest September 28, 2024 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Carbon Campus. She was the wife of the late Michael Nahaj and the late George Bochicchio. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Evan and Catherine (Kiripolsky) Kosica. She was the last surviving sibling of 14. She was a housewife. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill and was also a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Nesquehoning, where she was very active in all church festivals and fundraisers. She was famous for her cooking and baking videos on Big Mike and Alice’s Kitchen on Facebook. She also enjoyed her annual New Columbus Easter Egg Hunts that she and her son Mike organized for the children in Nesquehoning.  Her beautiful personality and big heart were seen with her generosity and willingness to help others through her love of cooking and baking. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and Facebook followers.  

Surviving are a son Michael T. Nahaj of Nesquehoning; grandchildren Melissa Leslie and her husband Todd, Christopher Gogal, Keith Gogal and his wife Mary, Lauren Cruz and her husband Joseph, and Lindsey Hanshaw and her husband Ric; great grandchildren Tyler, Mike, Abigail, George, Mandolin, Molly, Jack, and Matthew; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter Donna M. (Bochicchio) Gogal; son George Bochicchio; sisters Lucille Montoro, Catherine Beers, Ann Yasson, Antoinette Kosica, Mary Stefanisko, and Pauline Dinardo; and brothers Evan, George, Joseph, Alfred, Albert, and Robert.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the Shrine of St. Therese of Lisieux, 15 East Garibaldi Ave., Nesquehoning, PA with Rev. Robert George officiating. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Nesquehoning. Call Wednesday night 5-7:00 P.M. and Thursday morning 10-10:30 A.M. in the funeral home. The Joseph S.
