1946 - 2023

Anna Marie Wester, age 76, of Lansford PA and Rochester Hills MI, peacefully passed away on August 13, 2023, in Lansford. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Anna Marie had a colorful sense of humor and a highly creative spirit. She was a kind soul and had a deep love for animals. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed cooking and passed on her passion for food to her three children. Her plucky, fun-loving personality endeared her to all who knew her.

Anna Marie is survived by her sister, Dawnelle Soley, and her children: Daniel Wester and his wife Heather, Christine Eisenberg and her husband Aaron, and Nicole Aita and her husband Roberto. She was beloved grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren Megan, Kelly, Margot, Sofia, Julian, and Xavier.

Born to George and Anna Soley on September 30, 1946 in Coaldale PA, Anna Marie was the granddaughter of Anna and Micheal Hosak. She attended Marion Catholic High School in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, and completed her college education at Oakland University in Michigan.

Anna Marie had a successful career as a gifted saleswoman. After working in real estate, she found her true calling in the retail industry. Her keen eye for fashion and genuine desire to help others look and feel their best earned her a loyal clientele. 

As a devout catholic she worshiped at St. Andrew's church in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and St. John the Baptist in Lansford, Pennsylvania.

In her spare time, Anna Marie enjoyed swimming, painting watercolors, playing the piano, and baking. Her hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to express her creativity.

A service to celebrate Anna Marie's life will be held at St. John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 104 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, PA on October 27th at 11am. Online condolences at www.blazoskyfh.com.

Anna Marie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
