Annette June Kirchdoerfer

1934-2022

 

Annette June Kirchdoerfer, 87, of Lansford, entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 29, 2022 in her residence. Born in Lansford, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Jean (Bender) Matta. She was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a member of the Hope of Christ Presbyterian Church, Summit Hill where she belonged to the Presbyterian Women’s Group. She was also a member of the Red Hatter’s. Annette enjoyed swimming, dancing, and participating in the Carbon County Senior Games.

 

Surviving are daughters Elaine Kirchdoerfer and her husband Michael Kirk of Kennett Square, PA, Debra Kirchdoerfer and her husband Ronald Adelberg of West Chester, PA and Shirley Kirchdoerfer of Summit Hill; a brother John Matta and his wife Pat of Tampa, FL; grandchildren Sherri Vonhahmann, Fred Michalac, Justin Kirk, Rachel Adelberg, Melissa Crampsie, Candice Boyle, and Michael Gimbor; 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

 

She was also preceded in death by sisters Liz Sommers, Jean Coniglio, and Elaine Hill and a brother Joseph.  

 

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in The Hope of Christ Presbyterian Church, 44 W. White St., Summit Hill, Pa 18250 with Rev. Ruth Ann Christopher officiating. Interment will follow in Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua. Call Thursday night 6-8:30 P.M. and Friday morning 10-11:00 A.M. all in the church. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in her name to the Hope of Christ Presbyterian Church or the Carbon County Friends of Animals, 77 W. 13th St., Jim Thorpe, PA 18229.
