Bradley Scott DeMarco
1968 - 2026
Brad “Bad Brad” DeMarco, 57, of Jim Thorpe, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 19, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus.
Known for his big, unforgettable smile and warm personality, Brad had a special way of making everyone around him feel welcomed and loved. He was the devoted husband of Jacqueline (Farrell) DeMarco, with whom he shared 29 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Together, they built a family that was the center of Brad’s world.
Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Brad was the son of Donato “Don” and Viki (Baker) DeMarco of Nesquehoning.
Brad was a graduate of Panther Valley High School, Class of 1986, and later attended tech school. He proudly served his country as a United States Army Veteran.
Music was one of Brad’s greatest joys. A talented musician, he loved playing his guitar, especially at the Underground in Jim Thorpe, where his music and bright smile were familiar and cherished. He also spent 18 years as a Jim Thorpe Little League coach, sharing his time, patience, and heart with the children he coached.
Above all else, Brad’s greatest love was his family. He treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, whether it was cheering from the sidelines, sharing laughs, or simply being together. His love was steady, genuine, and deeply felt, and his presence will be missed more than words can express.
In addition to his wife and parents, Brad is survived by his daughters, Jocelyn DeMarco Guess and her husband Zack, and Katie DeMarco, both of Jim Thorpe; his sons, Zac and his wife Chelsea of Williamstown, NJ, and Nathan of Jim Thorpe; his brother, Anthony “Tony” DeMarco of Nesquehoning; and his beloved grandchildren, Zayden, Izabella, Blake, Kayden, and Payton, who were the light of his life.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 23, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. at the Melber Funeral Home, 524 Center Street, Jim Thorpe, PA, with Rev. Ronald Minner officiating.
