Carol A. Barron
1948 - 2025
Carol (Kusko) Barron, 76, of Nesquehoning entered into eternal rest, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, May 18th, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem Campus. She was the wife of William Barron. They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on September 10th of last year. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Benyo) Kusko. She was a graduate of Panther Valley High School Class of 1966. Carol devoted her life to her family. Her greatest ambition in life was to be the best mother and loving “baba” to her children and grandchildren. Throughout her life she volunteered with many youth organizations, and was an officer for the PTO, and JROTC. She was an avid Elvis fan who treasured her family trips to Graceland and Tennessee.
She is survived by her husband and four daughters, Tara Yuricheck and her husband, Ronnie, of Summit Hill; Amber Sinn and her husband, Christopher, of Orwigsburg; Stephanie Barron of Nesquehoning; and Shauna Zancofsky and her husband, John, of Tamaqua. A brother Stephen “Chip” Kusko and his wife, Linda, of Nesquehoning. Grandchildren Mikayla and Gavin Yuricheck, Miles and Violet Sinn, and Wyatt Zancofsky.
Carol was predeceased by her cherished son, Billy.
A funeral service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in St. John Orthodox cemetery, Nesquehoning. The Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Online condolences at www.blazoskyfh.com
