Caroline Sniscak, 96, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 05, 2018 in MapleShade Meadows, Nesquehoning. She was the wife of the late John Sniscak who passed away July 26, 2007. Born in Belton,TX, she was a daughter of the late William and Nora Pearl (Messer) Lueck. She was employed as a seamstress in many factories in Nesquehoning until retiring. In her early years, she worked on the family farm in Texas, picking cotton and taking care of the animals. She was of the Catholic Faith.
Surviving are sons John W. and his wife Debby (Lauchner) of Weatherly and Gregory and his wife Diane (Pathroff) of Nesquehoning; a daughter Linda Yaniga of Chesapeake, VA; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter Rebecca A. (Becky) Pilla who passed away August 4, 2013 and several sisters and brothers.
A Funeral Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Sky-View Memorial Park.
