1938 - 2025
Charlea J. Andreas, 86, formerly of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest, Monday January 6, 2025 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Campus. She was the wife of the late Carl A. Andreas Sr. who passed away December 15, 2012. Born in Mauch Chunk, she was the daughter of the late Naomi Swartz- Mclean and the late Charles Swartz. She was employed as a seamstress and a CNA until her retirement. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Jim Thorpe. She was a graduate of Mauch Chunk High School. She loved animals and enjoyed sewing.
Surviving are sons Carl A. Jr. and his wife Robin of Allentown and Christopher and his wife Kathleen of Albrightsville; daughters Carla wife of Joseph Piniecki of Maryland, Sue Ellen Andreas of Jim Thorpe, and Barbara wife of Steve Reabold of Noth Carolina; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter Annette L. Andreas; sister Barbara Hartman; and a brother George Swartz.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, January 13, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, PA 18240 with Rev Dr. Timothy Griffin officiating. Interment will be held in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown. Family will receive friends Monday morning 10-11:00 A.M. in the Funeral Home.
