David B. Maradeo

1957-2023

David B. Maradeo, 66, of Lake Hauto, entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 9, 2023 in the St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem Campus. Born in Coaldale, he was the son of Mary Lou (Ashmore) Maradeo and the late Frank (Jeep) Maradeo of Lake Hauto. He was employed as a wealth manager for various banks throughout the years.  His last position was with Santander Bank until retiring last year. He was a graduate of Panther Valley High School Class of 1975 and a graduate of Bloomsburg University Class of 1979. He was a member of the First Congressional Church, Coaldale. David enjoyed riding motorcycles, 4-wheelers, kayaking, and spending time at the beach.

Surviving along with his mother are daughters Megan wife of Lee Herko of Lake Hauto and Morgan Maradeo of West Hazleton; grandchildren Jaxson and Braxton Herko and companion Doris Eckhart of Lake Hauto.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning with Rev. Dr. Wayne Benack officiating.
