Donald Frank Bowser, 67, of Jim Thorpe entered into eternal rest Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in his residence. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was a son of Floyd Bowser of Arcadia, FL and the late Gwendolyn Adams.  He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Jim Thorpe. He loved food, dancing, doing puzzles, and going to parties with family and friends. He also liked listening to music, especially Elvis Presley and the Beach Boys. Donald was a special gentleman who could also be seen carrying around and looking through his Holy Bible. A day never went by without Donald saying “Hi Ya, Honey”.

Surviving along with his father is his caretaker Dawn Uber with whom he resided; his extended family Beverly Schiano and her fiancé Keith Duda of Nesquehoning and Jacqueline Good and her husband Nick of Leola, PA; and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in Christ Lutheran Church, 189 Church Road, Jim Thorpe, PA with Pastor John Hassler officiating. Call Friday 1:30-2:00 P.M. in the Church. Interment will be held in Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota,FL. The Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
