Dorothy A. (Hydock) Walton

Dorothy Walton, 82, of Naples, FL died March 25th, 2018. Born in Lansford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Lapota)Hydock. Formerly from Huntington Valley, PA, she had been a Naples resident for the past 18 years. 

Dorothy’s career as a nurse anesthetist (CRNA) spanned 35 years. She was an active member of the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Parish and a member of the Player’s Club at Lely Resort. Dorothy thoroughly enjoyed her Mahjong games.

Dorothy will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched in both her personal and professional life. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Hydock; niece and nephews, Lisa, David and John Sherbin and Bill Fritz; great nephews, Brian and Jared Fritz and their mother, Lenore; and Dorothy’s loving furry friend, Mr. George. She was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Walton; sister, Rose Fritz; and nephew, Joseph Fritz.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 14th, 11AM – 12PM at the Sverchek-Blazosky Funeral Home, 340 E. Bertsch St., Lansford PA 18232. A Memorial Service will start at 12:00PM.
