1931 - 2026

Emma Claire Walsh (nee McCullough), age 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep on

January 19, 2026. She resided at Country Home in Wilmington. DE.

   She graduated from Sharon Hill High School where she played sports,

   especially field hockey and made lifelong friends like Ginger.  She married

   and raised 3 fine sons on a waitress salary after her divorce. She remarried

   and enjoyed traveling, cooking, tennis and bowling.  She was excellent

   bridge player with her woman's club. She also enjoyed acting and volunteered

   at the Walnut St. Theatre.

   Predeceased by her parents, Freeland and Emma (Kelly) McCullough.

   Her husband Joseph D. Walsh, her brother George McCullough and her

   beloved son Robin W. Seitz.

   Survived by her sister Joan E. Dougherty, sister-in-law Gladys McCullough.

   Her sons, Edward G. Seitz(Katherine), Blair H Seitz(Julia), daughter-in-law

   Virginia Seitz.  Her grandchildren, Jason Seitz(Jocelyn), Racheael Seitz(Al),

   Kristy Seitz(Jaime), Brian Seitz(Kylie), Gregory Seitz(Terri), Scott DeBourke

   (Alison). As well as her great grandchildren, McKenzie Seitz, Sitka, DeLapp,

   Jake Seitz, Ebony, Lucina, Morihei and Ethana Woods, Emma and Lily

   Seitz, Wesley DeBurke.

   Celebration of life will be scheduled in the spring.
