1950-2022

 

Frank Patrick Crampsie, 72, of Whitehall, entered into eternal rest Friday, July 15, 2022 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Barbara (Smith) Crampsie. They celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on November 24th of last year. Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late John L. Sr. and Margaret L. (Shober) Crampsie. He was employed as an inspector for the Pennsylvania Department of Weights and Measures until his retirement. He was a graduate of Panther Valley High School Class of 1969 and a graduate of Lehigh Valley Community College Class of 1971. He enjoyed watching and traveling to see the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team. He was a member of the former Lehigh Valley Notre Dame Club, a lifetime member of the Fullerton Fire Company, and a member of the Summit Hill American Legion.

 

Surviving along with his wife are sons Ryan and his wife Deanna (Strunk) of Blandon, PA and Sean and his wife Brittany (Foster) of Carlisle; grandchildren Landon, Harper, and Carter; sisters Anne Crampsie, R.S.M. of Ambler, PA and Grace Crampsie Smith of Bethlehem; brothers Edward O’Brien and his wife Shirley (Gerber) of Coaldale, James and his wife Laura (Bochicchio) of Summit Hill, and Robert and his wife Kathleen (Mangan) of Summit Hill; sister-in-law Marianne (Costello) Crampsie of Allentown; and many nieces and nephews.    

 

He was also preceded in death by a brother John L. Crampsie Jr.

 

A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall,, PA 18052 with Robert J. Potts officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday morning 9-11:00 A.M. in the church. Donations will be accepted in his name to the American Cancer Society, 33 W.
