Gerard F. DiGilio, 38, of Jim Thorpe, entered into eternal rest Monday, April 13, 2026 in his residence.
Born in Franklin Square, New York, he was a son of Linda Ann (Musto) DiGilio and the late Gerard A. DiGilio
He was a graduate of Jim Thorpe High School Class of 2005.
He was employed as an asbestos abatement technician working for Sargent Enterprise, Jim Thorpe for the past 10 years.
He was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Jim Thorpe.
Gerard was a family man and loved being with them. He had a love for the outdoors, four wheeling, and his prized Subaru. He was also a quiet man with a deep religious spirit. Everyone that knew him said he had a heart of gold. Gerard was a hard worker. He will be missed by his family, friends, and especially his cat Smokey.
Surviving along with his mother are a son Noah; a brother Timothy M. DiGilio of North Carolina; a cousin Brian and his wife Ally; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Service: Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2006, St. Joseph Catholic Church, 526 North St., Jim Thorpe, with the Rev. Ronald Minner officiating. Interment, parish cemetery, Jim Thorpe. Call 5-8 p.m. Monday night and 10-10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning.
