Helen Kusko

1926-2021

Helen Kusko, 94, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest May 16, 2021 in St. Lukes Hospital, Gnaden Huetton Campus. She was the wife of the late John Kusko who passed away August 03, 2001. Born in Beaver Meadows, she was a daughter of the late Wasyl and Mary (Supola) Petuch. She was employed as a seamstress for Kay Jay Pants Company in Nesquehoning for over 30 years until retiring. She was a graduate of Hazleton High School. Helen was a member of St. May Byzantine Catholic Church, Nesquehoning.

Surviving is a son Ronald Kusko of Nesquehoning and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a loving daughter and best friend Ann Louise Kusko, sisters Ann Petuch, Mary Stritz, Rose Chunko, and Dorothy Balash and brothers Michael, Joseph, John, Wassil, Becky, and Andrew Petuch.

A Memorial Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family with Rev. Vasyl Chepelskyy officiating. Interment will be held in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown. Donations will be accepted in her name to St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, 104 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, PA 18232. The Joseph S.
