Jason Maxim Brunda, 35, entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 13, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, after a lifelong battle with Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease with Congenital Hepatic Fibrosis. Born in Coaldale, he was a son of Andrew and Charmaine (Williams) Brunda of Nesquehoning. He was employed as a welder for the Viking Company in Hometown and then the Valmont Company in Hazelton. He was a 2001 graduate of Panther Valley High School and then went on to further his education at Pennsylvania College of Technology graduating in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Welding Technology. He was a member of the Nesquehoning Sokol Club and was of the Catholic Faith. Jason was a self taught guitar player. He was also deeply into Scale Remote Control Car Building with a great passion and unbelievable skill that was amazing to witness. He was noted numerous times in the talented circle of the RC World.
Surviving along with his parents are a sister Tammy Smale and her husband Randy of Kunkletown; a brother Michael Brunda and his wife Megan of Summit Hill; nephews Colton and Michael; nieces Alyssa and Megan; great niece Emilia; and many aunts uncles, and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by a sister Roxann A. Jones, maternal grandparents Mary and Jacob Williams, and paternal grandparents Anna and Andrew (Moxie) Brunda.
A graveside service that is open to all family and friends will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in Sky View Memorial Park, 108 Lafayette Ave., Tamaqua, PA 18252 with Pastor Marjorie Kieter officiating.
