Jeffrey F. Kratz

1946 - 2025

Born in Sellersville on October 9, 1946, Jeff was the son of John Forrest Kratz and Doris Irene (Snyder) Kratz.

Jeff graduated from North Penn High School, Class of 1964. As a child, John Forrest taught Jeff not only the value of a hard day's work, but also how to train and ride prized Golden Palominos and Parade Horses. Jeff placed highly in competitions across the United States.

Jeff was an expert real estate and insurance broker throughout his sixty year career and trained countless agents. He was always proud of being one of the youngest real estate brokers in the state of Pennsylvania when he started.

Jeffrey F. Kratz Real Estate carried on the legacy of The John Forrest Kratz Agency while simultaneously operating Peggy Kratz & Co. Insurance, named after his adoring wife, until Jeff's untimely passing. Additionally, Jeff followed in his father's footsteps by owning his and Peggy's horse farm, K'Ranch II, for forty years.

Early in his professional career, Jeff was a highly sought-after public speaker for educational courses around the country. Later in life, his hobbies included carriage and sleigh restoration, showing horses, and attending auctions with his family.

In addition to Peggy, Jeff is survived by his children: Lisa M. Spofford & husband Howard; James F. Kratz & wife Kathleen; Jennifer A. Collins & husband Michael; Jonathan F. Kratz; Susan K. Davis & husband Brian; Jacob F. Kratz & wife Thuy; Justin F. Kratz & wife Michele; Maggie F. Kratz-Ouran & husband Sharif; and Joseph F. Kratz. He was preceded in death by his sons Joshua F. Kratz and Jeffrey F. Kratz, II.

Jeff (Gramps) is also survived by his grandkids and great-grandkids: Ryan DuBois, Alicia Spofford, Howard Spofford & wife Tori, and Brooke Spofford; Nolan Kratz, Jared Kratz, and Liam Kratz; James Kratz, Jr. and Isabella Kratz; Jossalyn Collins; Breanna Kratz and Karlee Kratz; Logan Davis; Olivia Kratz, Julian Kratz, Jordan Le, Evan Kham, and Jayden Kham; Lincoln Kratz; Nadia Ouran, Talia Ouran, and Zaina Ouran; and great-grandsons Parker Wallace and Waylon DuBois.
