Jennie F. Citrano

Jennie F. Citrano, 90, formerly of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. She was the wife of the late Samuel Citrano who passed away November 20, 2013. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Luke and Mary (Coniglio) LaRizzio. She was employed as a seamstress for the former Kai Jay Pants and former Calvin Klein Companies in Nesquehoning until retiring in 1989. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and now a member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley. She was also a member of OLMC sodality.

Surviving are daughters Ann Marie Stauffer and her husband Elmer and Lisa Lindenmuth and her husband Earl all of Nesquehoning; grandchildren Sarah Mitchell-Shimkus and her husband Albert, Kelly McIntosh and her husband Robert, Michael Stauffer, Ryan Lindenmuth and Michael Lindenmuth and his fiancée Becky Steere; great grandchildren Hailey and Gabriel; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by sisters Mary Sebelin and Carmella Mezzarone and brothers Thomas and John LaRizzio.

A Mass of Christin Burial will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Shrine of St. Therese at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 15 E. Garibaldi Ave., Nesquehoning with Rev. Allen Hoffa officiating. Interment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Nesquehoning. Call Thursday morning 9:00 A.M. until time of services in the Church. In Lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in her name to Alzheimer Association or St. Jude Children’s Hospital c/o the funeral home. The Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
