John "Jack" Staivecki

1939 - 2022

John “Jack” Staivecki, 83, of Lost Creek, Schuylkill County, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 01, 2022 in his residence. Born in Nesquehoning, he was a son of the late Anthony Sr. and Mary (Donish) Staivecki. He was the owner/operator of the Olympian Drive-In in Jim Thorpe for many years and also was the operator of Coniglio’s Stand in Nesquehoning. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Nesquehoning.

Surviving are a sister Helen Hutnyan of Pittsburgh; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a sister Mary Kuyan and brothers infant Anthony Jr., Peter, Joseph, and Andrew Staivecki.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. in St. John Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Nesquehoning with Rev. Robert J. Teklinski officiating. The Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Online condolences at www.blazoskyfh.com.
