Joseph C. Nelson, 74, of Penn Forest Twp, entered into eternal rest Monday, August 15, 2022 in his residence. He was the husband of Edith M. (Camp) Nelson. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 20th of this year. Born in Billerica, MA, he was a son of the late Clarence and Louise Nelson. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Jim Thorpe. He was a graduate of Billerica Memorial High School, MA. He enjoyed reading, gardening, playing on his computer, and fishing, but especially loved spending time with his family.

Surviving along with his wife are daughters Christina Nelson and her husband John Borsky of Kunkletown, Angie Nelson of Bethlehem, Treasurelly Nelson of Bethlehem, and Leanne Nelson of Reading; sons Michael Nelson of Jim Thorpe, Joseph Nelson Jr., Scott Nelson of Lehighton, and Daniel Nelson of Jim Thorpe; grandchildren Joseph III, Brook, Jason, Olivia, Carson, and Ryan Nelson; and several brothers and sisters.
