Joseph G. Snisky, 83, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Friday, July 4, 2025 in the Wilkes Barre VA Medical Center Nursing Facility. He was the husband of the late Karen (Fogel) Snisky who passed away July 31, 2020. Born in Nesquehoning, he was a son of the late Joseph Snisky and the late Pearle (Conarty) Snisky Evanko. He was a self -employed businessman running several businesses throughout the area, most recently the Northeast Gold and Silver Exchange, Hazleton. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was a graduate of Nesquehoning High School Class of 1959. Joe was a member of the Nesquehoning Sokol Club, Nesquehoning VFW Post 8008, and a member of the VA Coin Club, Wilkes-Barre.

Surviving are a son Joseph Snisky Jr. of Beaver Meadows; a daughter Brooke Marie Snisky of Hometown; and a brother Andrew Evanko Jr. and his wife Ann (Nemeth) of Schuylkill Haven.

He was also preceded in death by a brother Eugene Snisky.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 at 7:30 P.M. in the Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E Catawissa St., Nesquehoning with Rev. Eric J. Gruber officiating. Military interment will be held Monday, July 14 at 10:00 A.M. in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Call Friday night 6-7:30 P.M. Military honors under the direction of the Nesquehoning VFW post 8008 will be held following the Funeral Service around 8:00 P.M. The Joseph S.
