Justin David King

Justin David King, 28, of Coaldale, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Lancaster. Born in Coaldale, he was a son of David and Chrissy (Linkhorst) King of Coaldale. He was employed as a Physical Therapy Assistant where he touched the lives of so many he helped. He was last employed at the Lancaster Care and Rehabilitation Center.  He was a graduate of Panther Valley High School, Class of 2007, where he was a member of the National Honor Society and a member of Harmony Scholars. He was also recognized for his athletic ability earning 1st team All State Honors in Baseball and All County Honors in Football. He then went on to further his education at Bloomsburg University and then Lehigh County Community College graduating in 2015. Justin was a member of St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church, Coaldale. He was an avid New York Yankee, Cleveland Browns and New York Rangers Fan. He loved playing the guitar and enjoyed going to the gym.

Surviving along with his parents are a sister Jennifer Overton of Hazleton; a brother Zackary King, USAF, stationed at Joint Base, of Charleston, SC; maternal grandparents Charles and Jean Linkhorst of Lake Hauto; paternal grandmother Nancy King of Coaldale; a Godson and best friend Jackson Overton; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and loving pets Addie, Tillie, and Lilly.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Nicholas King.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church, 217 First St., Coaldale, PA 18218 with the Very Rev. James Weremedic officiating. Interment will be held in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Call Monday 9:00 -11:00 A.M. in the Church.
