Karl J. Pecha, 87, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Sunday April 1, 2018 in St. Lukes’s Hospital Gnaden Huetten Campus, Lehighton. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Stempa) Pecha. They celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on Nov. 8th of last year. Born in Nesquehoning, he was a son of the late Stephen and Mary (Kopalek) Pecha. He was employed as a supervisor for Mack Trucks in Allentown for 10 years until retiring. Karl was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War with the 514th Maintenance Squadron and the 514th Troop Carrier Wing. He was a member of St. John Slovak Lutheran Church, Lansford.
Surviving along with his wife are brothers Clarence “Terry” Pecha and his wife Carol and Robert Pecha both of Nesquehoning; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by sisters Florence Pecha, Olga Marzen, Sue Scasny, Stephanie Petrock, Emily Scasny, Helen Baranovich, Anna Petrock, and Mary Petrock and brothers John, Stephen, Albert and Paul.
