Lois Mae Maliko

Mrs. Lois Mae Maliko, 79, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, in the St. Luke’s Hospital, Miners Campus, Coaldale. She was the widow of Robert J. Hubickey Sr., who passed away on Aug. 11, 1970, and Bernard N. Maliko, who passed away March 4, 1981.
Born in Chester, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy D. (Ryder) Saville.
She was a housewife.
She was a 1961 graduate of West Chester High School.
She was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader.
Lois enjoyed dancing, but, most of all, loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters Bernadette Mae Maliko of Nesquehoning and Anna Marie (Hubickey), wife of John Jasko of Danville, VA; a son, Robert J. Hubickey Jr., and his wife, Tami, of Emmaus; a brother Raymond Saville of Maryland; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Herbert Saville.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, with the Rev. Marjorie Keiter officiating. Interment, Sky-View Memorial Park Cemetery, Hometown. Call 10-11 a.m. Monday.
