Margaret Mary “Peggy” Farole, 80, of Nesquehoning, peacefully entered into eternal rest Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in her residence. She was the wife of Donato “Danny” Farole. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on May 30th of this year. Born in Nesquehoning, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Yacapsin) Shigo. She was a housewife and mother. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley in Summit Hill and was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Nesquehoning where she was a devoted member of the church choir. She was an excellent cook. She loved listening to 50’s music, reading, and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, and Baba who will be deeply missed by her family.

Surviving along with her husband are daughters Theresa Faenza and her husband Joseph of Coaldale, and Annette Koval and her husband Stephen of Nesquehoning; sons Donato “Danny” Jr. and his wife Nina of Mahoning Valley and Dominic and his wife Colleen of Hummelstown, PA; sisters Marie Reis and Audrey Damiano both of Nesquehoning; grandchildren Joseph, Amanda, Christine, Donato, Josh, Anthony, Angelina, Maria, Dominic, Sophia, and Antonio; great grandchildren Connor, Jovie, Jack, Andrew, and Alex; and many nieces and nephew.

She was also preceded in death by a sister Joan T. Shober.

A Funeral Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in her name to the Shrine of St. Therese of Lisieux, c/o 81 E.
