Margaret M. Staneck

Margaret M. Staneck, 95, of Summit Hill, entered into eternal rest Sunday, June 17, 2018 in St. Lukes Hospital, Miners Campus. She was the wife of Dr. Frank A. Staneck. They celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary in February of this year. Born in Coaldale, she a daughter of the late Michael and Gloria (Geusic) Skillan. She was a homemaker. Margaret was a member of the former St. Michael Catholic Church, Lansford and now a member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill.

Surviving along with her husband are sons Frank and his wife Dawn of Collingswood, NJ, Robert and his wife Nancy of Coaldale, and Richard and his wife Lorie of Nesquehoning; a brother Lenard of Plattsburgh, NY; a grandson Richard Jr. of Nesquehoning; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by sisters Anna, Mary, Barbara, Josephine, and Catherine (Kitty) and brothers Alfred, Michael, John, and Joseph.

A Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in St. Michaels Cemetery, Summit Hill. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sverchek-Blazosky Funeral Home. Online condolences at www.blazoskyfh.com.
