Margaret A. Strohl
1942 - 2025
Margaret Ann Strohl, 83, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 31, 2025 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Walter E. Strohl Sr. who passed away August 4, 2019. Born in Nesquehoning, she was the daughter of the late Michael Sr. and Anna (Hrapsky) Hrinda. She was employed as a nurse and a patient transporter for the former Gnaden Huetten Hospital in Lehighton and also worked in the former Gnaden Huetten Nursing Home until retiring. She loved her job and missed the personal interaction with patients every day. She was a member of the former Zion Lutheran Church, Nesquehoning and a member of the Nesquehoning Historical Society. Margaret enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cheering on the Philadelphia Flyers and the Denver Broncos, but especially loved the precious time spent with her family.
Surviving are a daughter Pamela Ann Keegan and her husband George of Penn Forest Twp.; sons Walter E. Jr. and Jeffery A. both of Nesquehoning; a granddaughter Sierra Marie Keegan and her companion Tristin of Whitehall; 2 nieces Nicole Greenberg and Michele Hrinda; a great niece Ava Greenberg; and a great nephew Alex Greenberg.
She was also preceded in death by a brother Michael Hrinda Jr.
Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in her name to the Carbon County Animal Shelter, 63 Broad St., Nesquehoning, PA 18240. The Joseph S.
