Mary Agnes Fox, 71, of Lake Hauto, entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 29, 2025 surrounded by her family in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem Campus. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Earl C. and Virginia A. (Miller) Johnson. She was employed as a bus driver for Carbon-Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21 for 38 years until her retirement in 2014. She was a graduate of Panther Valley High School Class of 1972 and then attended East Stroudsburg University. She was a member of Meed’s United Methodist Church, Nesquehoning where she was very active in all church activities and also was currently serving as the CSM Lay Minister. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and was still active in the organization, planning summer camp every year. She was a member of the Nesquehoning Historical Society and was a current Nesquehoning Councilwoman from 2010, where she was recently elected into the position of Vice President. There are not enough space or words to list all the wonderful things about Mary. Those that knew her will carry the memory with them of her love and compassion she had for her community.
