Mary Lorchak, 92, of Levittown, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 18, 2019 at the statesman Health and Rehabilitation Center, Levittown, PA. She was the wife of the late Peter Lorchak who passed away October 11, 2011. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Antoinette (Yurchak) Kosack. She was employed in a Jewish Deli in New York, the Brooklyn Navy yard working with Blueprints, Heppenstall in Philadephia as a crane operator, Diamond Super Market in Coaldale and then retired from Delhaas School in Bristol, PA as a cafeteria worker. She was a former member of St. Mary Orthodox Church, Coaldale and now a member of St. Vladimir Orthodox Church in Trenton, NJ. Mary loved doing anything and everything for others. She will be deeply missed for her selfless personality.
Surviving are a daughter Antoinette Leard of New Orleans, LA; a son Dion of Croydon, PA; a sister Dorothy Ritchie of Rock hill, SC; grandchildren Peter Lorchak of Levittown, Vaughn Leard of North Carolina, Alex Leard of North Carolina and Taylor Lorchak of Croydon; great granddaughter Charlotte and Sydney Lorchak of Levittown; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister Sophie Veneroso and a brother Joseph Kosack.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary Orthodox Church, 217 1st. St., Coaldale, PA with VRev James Wereme officiating. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery, Summit Hill. Viewing will be held Wednesday 10-11:00 A.M. in the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in her name to the Church.
