Marylyn C. Carr, 89, of Lansford, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, February 25, 2025 in her residence surrounded by her family. Born in Newark, NJ she was a daughter of the late Eugene Sr. and Catharine O’Malley. She was employed as a waitress for many years in several restaurants throughout NJ. She was a very crafty lady and could make anything look beautiful. Marylyn cherished her family and loved the time spend together. She also loved raising her grand children and great grandchildren.

Surviving are daughters Christina Castillo and her husband David of Lansford with whom she resided, Coleen Carr Lawrenceville, NJ and Kathleen Carr of Newark, NJ; a son Eugene Carr of Green Brook, NJ; grandchildren Vanessa Bigg-Carr, Amber Chicarella, Ashley Nilsen, Teresa Carr, Walter Curry, Freddy Carr, and Peter Carr; great grandchildren Julian, Dustin, Savannah, Sophia, TJ, Jaidah, Milania, Kyrie, Skye, Nahla, Peyton, and Morgan.

She was also preceded in death by a son Philip Carr, granddaughter Felicia Bigg-Carr, grandson Daniel Carr, sisters Doris Baker and Rosalie O’Malley and a brother Eugene O’Malley Jr..
