1962-2024

Michael A. Gimbor, 62, of Lansford entered into eternal rest Thursday, May 16, 2024 in his residence. Born in Lehighton, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Hoherchak) Gimbor. He was employed as a mechanic for KME in Nesquehoning and for Honda in Pennsylvania and California.  He was a graduate of Jim Thorpe High Class of 1980 and from the Lincoln Technical Institute. Mike was of the Catholic Faith.

Michael lived in both Pennsylvania and California for prolonged periods of time during his life, with a special love for the beach and the Pacific Ocean. He was an artist and a musician, with a passion for drumming. He also loved classic cars and motorcycles. Most recently, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved cat, Sebastian.

Surviving are daughters Candice Boyle and her husband Dave and Melissa Crampsie and her husband Michael, both of Summit Hill; a son Michael and his wife Vanessa of Brockton; a sister Judy (Gimbor) Hartman of Jim Thorpe; a brother Paul Gimbor and his wife Robin of Jim Thorpe; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother Joseph Gimbor.
