1947 - 2025
Michael Jupin Jr., 77, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 6, 2025 in the Greenwood Center for Nursing and Rehab, Tamaqua. He was the husband of Anne Marie (DiMiceli) Jupin. They celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on April 22nd of last year. Born in Waterberry, CT, he was the son of the late Michael Sr. and Mary (Unas) Jupin. He was employed as a production technician for Mack Trucks in Allentown for 48 years until his retirement in 2016. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Panther Valley High School Class of 1965. He was a member of St. John Orthodox Church, Nesquehoning. He was also a member of the Nesquehoning VFW Post 8008 and the Nesquehoning Sokol Club. He was an avid reader. Jup especially loved his family vacations to Wildwood, NJ every year.
Surviving along with his wife Anne Marie are a daughter Melanie Jupin of Atlantic City, NJ; a son Michael Jupin and his wife Claudia of Flanders, NJ; grandchildren Angelica and Christian Jupin; and many nieces and nephews.
Call Monday night 6-8:00 P.M. and Tuesday morning 10-10:30 A.M. in the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in St. John Orthodox Church, 9 W. Railroad St., Nesquehoning with the Rev. Father Kirill Zawatski officiating. Military interment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Nesquehoning. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in his name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. The Jospeh S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E.
