Patricia Ann Lazar, 75, of Lansford, entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 29, 2023 in St. Lukes Hospital, Bethlehem Campus. She was the wife of John M. Lazar. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct 28th of last year. Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Wash and Sophia (Bobersky) Dacey. She was employed as a seamstress for many garment factories throughout the area until her retirement. She was a graduate of Panther Valley High School Class of 1967. She was a member of the former St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Lansford and now a member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill. Patricia enjoyed baking, knitting and candy making. She also had a large cookbook collection.

Surviving along with her husband are a brother Theodore M. Dacey and his wife Mai-Ling of Nesquehoning and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother Stephen Dacey

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Parish of the P.V. Church, 462 E. Ludlow St. Summit Hill PA with Rev. Robert George officiating. Interment will be held in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Summit Hill. Call Friday 5-7:00 P.M. and Saturday 9-9:30 A.M. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Parish of P.V. or St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, c/o the funeral home. The Sverchek-Blazosky Funeral Home, 340 E.
