Pauline Z. Gaughan

1925 - 2022

 

 

Pauline Z. Gaughan, 97, of Jim Thorpe, entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 13, 2022 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown Campus. Born in East Mauch Chunk, she was a daughter of the late John and Anastascia (Dalak) Zajacz. She was employed as an account technician for Tobyhanna Army Depot until retiring in 1988. She was a graduate of East Mauch Chunk High School, Class of 1943. She was a member of Bozeman Senior Center, Montana and was of the Catholic Faith. Pauline enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and exercising every day.

 

Surviving are daughters Nancy Schlenner and her husband Francis of Jim Thorpe and Mary Ostroski and her significant other Kevin Toolan of Jermyn, PA; a son Robert and his wife Wanda of Lansford; a sister Marguerite Cadden of Allentown; grandchildren Francis Schlenner, Timothy Gaughan, Katrina Davis, and Tiffany Bruce; great grandchildren Megan, Max, Anastascia, and Ethan; and many nieces and nephews.

 

 

She was also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

 

A Memorial Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Jim Thorpe. Online condolences at www.blazoskyfh.com.
