Rose Maliniak

1921 - 2021

Rose Maliniak, 100, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest May 25, 2021 in MapleShade Meadows, Nesquehoning. She was the wife of the late Peter A. Maliniak who passed away April 10, 1990. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Tatiana T. (Kostelnik) Winsko. She was a graduate of Coaldale High School Class of 1939. She was a volunteer for RSVP, the Food Pantry, and the Red Cross for over 50 years. Rose was a member of the Nesquehoning Woman’s Club and the VFW Auxiliary.

Surviving are sons Dr. Richard M. and his wife Barbara of North Carolina and Peter B. of Collegeville, PA; granddaughters Pamela, Sandra, and Lindsey; great granddaughters Kaley and Ariana; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter –in- law Mary, sisters Mary Homick, Anna Sell, Olga Winsko, and Catherine Wolf, and brothers Andrew, John, Peter, Joseph, Alex, Michael, Paul, Theodore, Fred, and George.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. in Sky View Memorial Park, 108 Lafayette Ave., Tamaqua, PA. The Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Online condolences at www.blazoskyfh.com.
