Ruth Ann Ansbach, 74, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest, Friday, March 3, 2023 in her residence. She was the wife of Kenneth W. Ansbach. They celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on August 7th of last year.

Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Ella (Pavlik) Strohl.

She was employed as a sampler and floor lady for the former Kay Jay Pants Company in Nesquehoning and then employed in the accounting department of MCT Bank, Jim Thorpe.

She was a graduate of Panther Valley High School Class of 1966 and a graduate of McCann School of Business with an associate’s degree in accounting.

She was a member of the former First Baptist Church, Nesquehoning and currently a member of Lehighton First Bible Church, Lehighton. She was also a member of the Nesquehoning Historical Society.

Ruth loved the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, and gardening.  She also enjoyed baking.

Surviving along with her husband are a daughter Melissa J. Stappen and her companion Josh Chicaricco of Houston, TX; a son Kenneth T. and his companion Betsy Arner of Nesquehoning; a sister Sandy Artz and her husband Kevin of Lehighton; nieces Tawny Delich and her husband Mike and Tara Takerer and her husband Mike; and grandchildren Evan, Dawson, Rhianna, and Lydia.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 08, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. in the Joseph S. Blazosky F.H., 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, Pa with Pastor Randy Parker officiating. Interment will be held in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown. Call Tuesday 6-8:00 P.M. and Wednesday 11- 12:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
