Sandor “Sandy” Nyari, 90, of Lehighton, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 19, 2026 in his residence.

He was the husband of Holly Ellis. They celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary this past December. He was also the husband of the late Katalyn (Papp) Nyari who passed away October 19, 2015.

Born in Pecs, Hungary, he was a son of the late Sandor and Elizabeth (Bolvari) Nyari.

He was a member of the Church on the Rock, Summit Hill.

He was a United States Army Veteran.

Surviving along with his wife are a daughter Gloria Flynn and her husband Sean of Nesquehoning; a son Alexander “Sandy” Nyari and his wife Christina of Cogan Station, PA ; grandchildren Conrad Flynn, Alex and his wife Edith, James Nyari, and Lindsay Nyari; great grandchildren Molly Flynn, Nathan Blose, and Athena Nyari.

He was also preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth Mihalik granddaughter Nikkie Flynn .
