Sherry Lyn Rehatchek, 61, of Hauto Village, entered into enteral rest Saturday, August 16, 2025 surrounded by her loving family in her residence. She was the wife of Leonard E. Rehatchek Jr. They celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on December 23rd of last years. Born in Camden NJ and lived in Nesquehoning for past 43 years, she was a daughter of Barbara Hilbmann of Florida and William Neely of Somers Point, NJ. She was a graduate of Overbrook High School in Pine Hill, NJ. She was employed as a circuit board assembler for Viking LLC and you would also, she her smiling face at Classic Beverage in Nesquehoning. She was of the Lutheran Faith. She was a member of Sokol Club, Nesquehoning and the High Mountain Dirt Riders, Sugarloaf.
Surviving along with her husband and parents are a son Leonard E. Rehatchek, III, of Nesquehoning; a daughter Erin Borger and her husband Trevor of Lehighton; sisters Elia Marie Neely of Camden, NJ, Audra Neely of Jonestown, PA, and Kelly Catrambone and her husband Frank of Ventnor, NJ; brothers Christopher Neely of Atlantic City, NJ, Bill Neely and his wife Linda of Belmar, NJ, and Erik Hilbmann of Richmond, IN; grandchildren Ryder Rehatchek, William Cox, Ryder Borger, and Brooke Rehatchek.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 1-3 P.M. at the Borger Residence, 148 Eckhart Lane, Lehighton, PA, 18235. In lieu of flowers or monetary donations, the family kindly asks that you donate blood to the American Red Cross in honor of Sherry. She generously gave blood at every opportunity and was proudly recognized with the 5-Gallon Milestone for her lifelong commitment to helping others through blood donation. The Joseph S.
