1947 - 2022
Susan J. (Sweeney) Lambert, 75, of Lansford, entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 30, 2022 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton Campus. Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Anna Mae (Burns) Sweeney. She was employed as a secretary for Hart Metal Inc. in Tamaqua for over 25 years until retiring. She was a graduate of Marian High School Class of 1965. She was of the Catholic Faith. Susan loved to read.
Surviving are a son Nicholas Hunter Lambert of Weatherly; sisters Rosemary Manbeck and her husband Jerry of Palmerton and Dorothy D’Andrea of Lehighton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by a sister Nancy O’Boril and a brother-in-law Paul.
A Funeral Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Donations will be accepted in her name to the Carbon County Animal Shelter, 63 Broad St., Nesquehoning, PA 18240. Online condolences at www.blazoskyfh.com
