Theresa A. Pavlik, 77, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 1, 2018 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Joseph J. Pavlik. They celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary on April 8th of this year. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Tessitore) Kuzo. She was a self-employed beautician working for over 20 years in her shop in New Columbus. She then worked for the CLIU#21 as paraprofessional for 23 years. She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church, in Nesquehoning where she was a member of the Kitchen Crew and now a member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill. Theresa was also a member of the Nesquehoning Recreation Committee. She was a 1958 graduate of Nesquehoning High School and a 1960 graduate of Empire Beauty School. She was a great cook, enjoyed traveling, puzzle books, gardening, and crocheting, but most of all loved going to all of her grandkids sporting events.
Surviving along with her husband are daughters Cynthia Zimmerman and her husband Mark of Lansford, Theresa Jo Miller and her husband Keith of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Maryann David and her husband Theodore of Ashfield; a son Joseph R. and his wife Lynn of Nesquehoning; grandchildren Tiffany Miller and her companion Jay Bush, Keith Miller Jr. and his fiancée Courtney Williams, Taylor and Lukas David, Wyatt Zimmerman, and Derek and Gavin Pavlik; and one niece and 2 nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister Marie Morgans
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning with the Rev. Allen Hoffa officiating. Interment will be held in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Family will receive friends Tuesday 9-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Online condolences at www.blazoskyfh.com.
