Thomas M. Davis
1949 - 2023
Thomas M. Davis 73, of Lansford, entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 24, 2023 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Miners Campus. Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Wargo) Davis. He was employed in the shipping department of the former W & L Manufacturing in Coaldale and then was a certified nurse assistant at the former Coaldale State Hospital in Coaldale for many years. He was a member of the former St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Lansford and a current member of the St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley. He was also a member of the St. Ann’s Society.
Surviving are cousins and close friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister Barbara Davis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, 462 W. Ludlow St., Summit Hill, PA 18250 with Rev. Robert George officiating. Interment will be held in St. Michael's Cemetery, Summit Hill. Call Wednesday morning 10:00-11:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, Summit Hill. Donations in his name may be made to the church, c/o 118 N. Market St., Summit Hill, PA. The Sverchek-Blazosky Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
