Ursula Lazar, 82, of Lansford, entered into eternal rest May 31, 2021 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Michael J. “Freckles” Lazar who passed away January 03, 2007. Born in Nurnberg, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Max and Hertha (Becker) Wiesel. She was employed as a sales and buying clerk for a department store in Nurnberg, Germany for many years. She was also a manager of 35 people who did food preparation for the Palace of Justice in Nurnberg. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansford and the St. Lawrence Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nuremberg. She was also a member of Non Commissioned Office Association and the ELC Woman’s Club.

Surviving are a sister Maryanne and her husband Walter Finsterbusch of Hannover, Germany; loving neighbors and friends Dennis and Joanne Anderson and Lucia D’Ancona; 2 Nieces, 4 Nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Sverchek-Blazosky Funeral Home, 340 E. Bertsch St., Lansford with Pastor Roy Koehler officiating. Interment will be held in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Summit Hill. Call Monday Morning 10-11:00 A.M. in the Funeral Home.
