Veronica J. “Ronnie” Hedash, 91, of Coaldale, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 7, 2024 in her daughter’s home, Allentown, PA. She was the wife of the late Joseph Hedash who passed away June 29, 2009. Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of Felix and Antonia (Pacewicz) Wolynski. She was employed as a seamstress for 50 years in several clothing factories throughout the aera. She was a member of St. John Byzantine Catholic Church, Lansford, where she was a member of the ladies guild and the pierogi crew. She was also a member of the Russian Club, Coaldale. Ronnie was an avid crocheter and donated afghans to Project Hope of  Easton for many years. She also was a great jitterbug and polka dancer.  

Surviving are a daughter Donna Hedash of Allentown; son Joseph and his wife Audrey (Tkach) of Slatington: grandchildren Casey, Craemer and his wife Kayci, Colin and his wife Stephanie, and Connor Hedash; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by brothers Frank, Victor, and William.

An Office of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the St. John Byzantine Catholic Church, 104 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, PA 18232 with Rev. Gregory Noga officiating. Interment will be held in Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua. Call Wednesday morning 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the Church. The Sverchek-Blazosky Funeral Home is entrusted with the funeral arrangements. In Lieu of flowers donations will be accepted in her name to the church. Online condolences at www.blazoskyfh.com.
