Violet Fern Gulich
1938 - 2022
Violet Fern Gulich, 84, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 09, 2022 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Miners Campus. She was the wife of the late John Gulich. Born in Whitehall, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mammie (Reichard) Diefenderfer. She was employed as a bartender for the Columbian Hotel in Coplay and also was a hostess for many years. She was a graduate of Whitehall High School. Violet was of the Protestant faith. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Surviving are daughters Patricia Ladick of Nesquehoning, Brenda Knerr and her husband George of Tamaqua, and Betty Dolly of Tamaqua; a son Michael Smith of Nesquehoning; a sister Marian Anthony of Fullerton; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandsons.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson Bryan Ladick, a sister Eva Dietch, and a brother Warren Shaffer.
